Control Your Digital Footprint

Digital Secure lets you control your footprint: create a data removal profile and keyphrase, add data to monitor and resolve breached accounts to keep your personal info private.

Create a Data Removal Profile

  1. Open the
    Verizon Protect app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Services
    Digital Footprint Manager
    .
  3. Enter your personal details (e.g., Name, DOB, email, ect.) then tap
    Continue
    .
  4. Enter your address then tap
    Continue
    .

Add Data to Monitor

  1. Open the
    Verizon Protect app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Services
    Digital Footprint Manager
    .
  3. Ensure a data removal profile and a keyphrase has been created.
  4. Tap
    Add data to monitor
    .
  5. Select the type of personal data to monitor (e.g. Bank accounts, Credit cards, Social Security numbers, etc.).
  6. Enter the required info for each data type then tap
    Save
    .

Resolve a Breached Account

  1. Open the
    Verizon Protect app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Services
    Digital Footprint Manager
    .
  3. If an account displays exposures, tap the account to view the breach details.
  4. Tap
    Add data to monitor
    .
  5. From the data breach alert at the top of the screen, click the
    Dropdown menu
     to view the steps you can take.
  6. If additional help is needed, tap
    Call specialist
     to open the dialer and place a call.
