Turning on data lets your Galaxy Watch8 / Watch8 Classic access online services over the Verizon network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile networks
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Turn Data On / Off
      1. From the Mobile networks screen, tap
        Always on
        .
      2. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn on or off.
    • Allow / Deny Data Roaming
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Select an option (e.g., Auto, Always on, Always off).
      2. Tap
        Data roaming
         to turn on of off.
