If your MiFi 5510L drops data connections due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.

  2. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
     (located on the right).
  4. Click
    Networks
    .
  5. From the Preferred network technology field, click the
    dropdown menu
    .
  6. Click the applicable setting:
    • Automatic
    • 4G LTE only
  7. Click
    Save Changes
    .
  1. From the Home screen, select
    Menu
    .
  2. Highlight Mobile Network then select
    Open
    .
  3. From Mobile Network, select
    More
    .
  4. From Preferred Network, use the scroll buttons to cycle through the available networks then select
    Set
    .
    After the choice is made, the device restarts in the selected network mode.
