Roadside Assistance - Request Assistance

Here's how to request assistance using the Roadside assistance app on your Android device.
Emergency SOS via satellite allows you to text emergency services from an Apple iPhone 14 model or higher when you're out of cellular and Wi-Fi coverage. Visit the Emergency SOS via satellite Support page for more info.
To request assistance select an option.
  • Immediate Assistance
    (Guest or Non-subscriber): A Verizon customer who does not subscribe to the Roadside Assistance service can still use the service on a per use basis.
  • Logged In
    (Subscriber):  A Verizon customer who does subscribe to the Roadside Assistance service.

  1. Open the Roadside app.
  2. To continue, review the Terms and Conditions then tap
    Accept to Continue
    (bottom).
  3. Tap
    Continue as Guest
    .
  4. Select the type of assistance needed.
    The service fee is listed to the right of each service.
    • Tow
    • Lockout
    • Fuel Delivery
    • Tire Change
    • Jump Start
  5. Tap
    More Options
    to select one of the following:
    • I'm stuck in a ditch.
    • My electric car needs recharging.
    • I just want to talk to a person.
  6. Answer any additional questions then select
    Continue
    .
  7. Tap
    Add Vehicle
    to enter your vehicle info then tap
    Continue
    .
  8. Tap
    Add Contact/Payment
    to enter Name, Email, Phone Number and payment info, then tap
    Continue
    .
  9. Tap
    Submit Request
    .
