Video Media Server 1100 (VMS1100)

The VMS 1100 is a set-top box that provides recording capabilities/features from multiple rooms and set-top boxes.

The IP Client 1100 (IPC1100) is an advanced solution for viewing entertainment. You can connect up to 4 IPC1100 boxes with the Video Media Server 1100 (VMS 1100) to provide whole-home TV solutions. For additional details about eh IPV 1100, visit the IP Client 1100 (IPC1100) support page.

Connect and activate Fios TV using the guided self-install tool in My Verizon:

• Sign in and access the tool from the dashboard.
• Activating Fios TV may take up to 20 minutes.

Activate using your TV:

• With your Fios router already installed, follow the steps below to activate your VMS or STB. Reference the user guide while going through the activation steps. With your Fios router already installed, 
• Follow the steps below to activate your Video Media Service (VMS) or Set-top Box (STB).

1. Make the connections:
   1. Connect the coax cable from your VMS or STB/DVR to a coax outlet.
   2. Connect the HDMI (other) cable from your VMS or STB to the TV.
   3. Connect the power cord from your VMS or STB to an electrical outlet.
2. Complete activation:
   1. Turn on your VMS or STB and TV using your Fios remote, follow the on-screen instructions.
