Stream TV Device

If an app will not open try clearing the app cache on your Stream TV or Stream TV Sound bar. Visit the instructions below to learn how.

1. Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Android TV
2. On your device, open the Android TV Remote Control app
3. Tap the name of your Stream TV device shown on your phone screen
4. On your TV screen, you'll see a PIN. Enter this PIN on your device
5. On your device, tap Pair.

If prompted to update your remote software, you may perform the steps manually by going to the Settings menu > Advanced Settings > Upgrade bluetooth remote.

Access your Settings menu > Device Preferences > Language.

You need a Verizon wireless or Verizon Fios Internet account to buy or rent video on demand titles, but the Stream TV device works with almost any internet service.

How you can pay for Stream TV content depends on the content you’re buying.:

• Apps, gaming and videos - You can use  the default Google payment methods

• Movies and shows - You can link  your Verizon account to your Stream TV account. This lets you pay for select content by billing to your Verizon account or by using a saved credit card.

1. Pair your Stream TV Voice Remote
2. Select your preferred language
3. Setup TV with your Android phone or Skip to bypass.(follow prompts)
4. Select wi-fi network and enter wi-fi password
   Select : on-screen to proceed
5. Sign into your Google account with your login credentials using:
   1. your android phone or connected device (must be connected to the same wi-fi address)
   2. Your Stream TV Voice Remote
6. Review and Accept the Terms of Service
7. Follow on screen prompts for further customization

If your remote does not sync to your TV volume during the initial setup or as part of a subsequent software update, perform the configuration manually.

1. Select Advanced Settings from the Settings menu
2. Select Configure Stream TV remote from the Advanced Settings menu
3. Hit the Begin button from the Configure your remote screen
4. Wait for the hardware configuration to complete and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm successful configuration.

Note: Depending on your current remote firmware, you may first be prompted to update your current version.

Access your Settings menu > Device Preferences > Language.

The led light color on the front of your Stream TV device signals an On/Off state (On-White, Off-Red)

Access your Settings menu> Accounts & Sign In > Add account. 

Select the + symbol at the end of your apps rail to access the Google Play Store.

You can reconnect your Stream TV device to a TV away from home but will be required to reset your Wi-Fi credentials to your new network. You may also be required to sign back into certain Apps and will not have access to your Verizon rail if you are not on a Fios network.

As part of your initial setup you will be asked to establish your Wi-Fi connection following the on-screen prompts. If a change is required after the initial setup access the Settings menu using the gear in the upper right hand corner of the screen > Network & Internet > Select from available networks to add password or Add new network to establish a new network connection.

For downloaded apps contact the app provider, e.g., YouTube TV: support.google.com/youtubetv.

Highlight the app and hold down the OK button on the remote. Select Move to reposition or Remove from favorites to remove.
