4G LTE

Leading the
industry in
4G and 5G
wireless
technology.

The best network, 18 years and counting.

As our customers add more devices and find more ways to use them, we’re constantly increasing the density of our network. Since 2000, we've invested more than $126 billion to meet today’s surging demand for wireless data and video, and to get our network ready for 5G wireless technology.

Our commitment to network excellence has kept us at the top of RootMetrics® U.S. National RootScore® report rankings of wireless carriers in overall, reliability, data and call performance for ten straight reports in a row.*

* Network rankings based on RootMetrics US National, State and Metro RootScore Reports, covering second half of 2018. Performance rankings of four mobile networks rely on scores calculated from random samples across all available network types. Your experiences may vary. The RootMetrics award is not an endorsement of Verizon. Visit www.rootmetrics.com for more details.

Putting 5G to work.

5G will usher in the Fourth Industrial Revolution―opening up a huge new set of products and mobile trends for our customers. A few of the benefits are high-speed dataconnection speeds that are 30 to 50 times faster than 4Gresponsiveness and unparalleled video quality.

Verizon’s new 5G Labs will explore the boundaries of 5G technology, co-create new use applications and hardware, and engage with the community through programming designed to encourage local innovators to rethink what’s possible in a 5G world.

And, continuing its legacy of consumer firsts, Verizon launched Verizon 5G Home, the world’s first commercial 5G broadband internet service, on October 1, 2018. U.S. consumers can visit FirstOn5G.com to learn more about the service and sign up to be a “First On 5G” Member.
