  1. What's the early upgrade program for iPhones?

    The early upgrade program allows customers purchasing eligible iPhones to turn in that device after 30 days and payment of at least 50% to upgrade to a new eligible smartphone on a device payment agreement.

  2. How can I participate in the early upgrade program for iPhone?

    To participate, you need to:

    • Purchase and activate an eligible iPhone on a Verizon Wireless device payment agreement.
      • iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Mini
      • iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max (if purchased before 10/15/20)
      • iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR if purchased before 9/12/19
    • Use the eligible iPhone with Verizon Wireless service for at least 30 days
    • Pay at least 50% of the device's retail price
    • Return the eligible iPhone in good working condition with no significant damage, as determined by Verizon Wireless, within 14 days after you upgrade
    • Satisfy the early upgrade program terms and conditions

    Yes. If you pre-order iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, or iPhone 12 Mini on a Verizon wireless device payment agreement, and activate it, you're eligible for the early upgrade program.
