Make a charitable donation when you pay your bill FAQs

You can donate to an eligible charity when you pay your bill in My Verizon (through the website or app). Verizon will match your donation for a limited time.*

If you have a mobile and/or home internet you can:

• Donate any time you make a one-time bill payment.
• Donate through your Auto Pay payment.
  • Exception: Fios customers can't set up a recurring donation using Auto Pay at this time

*Verizon may halt the round-up donation program or the matching grant at any time. Review the Charitable Donations Terms and Conditions for more information.

The eligible charities are:

• Wounded Warrior Project®: Funds support free programs to improve injured veterans’ mental and physical health.
• DonorsChoose: Help underfunded public school students get instructional technology through education.
• Small Business Majority: Empower diverse entrepreneurs with business education and resources, as well as advocacy support.

Note: Eligible charities are subject to change periodically.

To donate when paying your bill in My Verizon:

• On the payment confirmation page tap Add Donation or Manage Auto Pay*.
• Choose a charity before submitting your payment.

Your bill will be rounded up to the nearest dollar amount (e.g., your $5.33 bill will be rounded up to $6. The $0.67 difference is donated to your chosen charity, along with Verizon’s match).

Good to know:

• You can change or cancel your recurring Auto Pay donation at any time.
• Your recurring donation amount can vary based on purchase activity, taxes, and other billing factors. Donations round up automatically regardless of bill changes.

When you donate while paying your bill, the donation appears on your next bill statement.

No, all donations are non-refundable.

Yes. In My Verizon, go to Payment Settings and select from the list of charity options.

No. Verizon covers all fees. 100% of your donation plus Verizon’s matching contribution* goes directly to your chosen charity.
