Verizon Cloud Referral Program FAQs

You get $10 off your Verizon bill for every contact you refer* when they begin a new, paid subscription for any of these Verizon Cloud plans: Unlimited, 600 GB.

Your referred contact will get a 30-day trial – on us. After the trial:

• They'll be billed monthly at the applicable monthly charge.
• You'll get a $10 credit on your Verizon bill.

Important:

• Your contact must have a standard monthly Verizon mobile plan.
• Prepaid mobile accounts are not eligible right now.
• Your contact must not have already had a free trial to Verizon Cloud.
• The terms and conditions on this page apply to the Verizon Cloud Referral program. By referring someone, or otherwise participating in this program, you agree to follow these terms. Verizon reserves the right to refuse to honor any referral if you don't follow the terms, or do anything that we feel compromises the fairness of our program in any way, at our sole discretion. Verizon may change these terms at any time, with or without notice. By participating in the program, you agree to follow the revised version of these Terms and Conditions. If changes are made, the updated version of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on this page.

Any existing Verizon Cloud customer on a paid mobile plan in good standing can participate in the Verizon Cloud Referral Program.*

Important: If Verizon Cloud is included with your mobile or home internet plan, you're not eligible to participate.

To invite a contact to get a Verizon Cloud plan:

1. Open the Verizon Cloud app.
2. Tap the Navigation Menu icon (upper left).
3. Tap Refer a Friend. Read the program information.
4. Tap Invite a Friend.
5. Grant access to your contacts (if needed).
6. Choose a contact from your contact list.
   1. Note: You can only choose 1 contact at a time
7. Review the text message. To make any edits:
   1. Tap Edit and make edits.
   2. Tap Save, then tap Continue.
8. If no edits are needed, tap Continue then tap Send. Your contact gets a message from you with a referral link to use to enroll.

Note:

• Only the contact can use the link to enroll in a Verizon Cloud plan.
• Only 1 referrer can get a credit for the same contact.

Make sure that your contacts use the link you send. It's the only way to get your bonus. Their text link is unique and can't be shared with anyone else.

Refer as many as contacts you like. However, your bonus is limited to 10 referrals in a 12-month period.

Only Verizon mobile account customers can be referred.

You can only get a bonus for contacts who sign up for a new paid Verizon Cloud plan.

They must also use the unique link in the text message you sent them.

You'll get a Verizon Cloud app message when your contact signs up for a paid Verizon Cloud plan.

Once your contact begins a paid subscription after their free trial period, you'll receive a $10 credit on your bill. The credit should appear in 1-2 bill cycles.

You won't get a bonus if your contact either:

• Cancels their Verizon Cloud account trial before the 30-day trial ends.
• Chooses not to become a paid Verizon Cloud user.

You must be an active paid Verizon Cloud customer in good standing to get a bonus.

If you cancel your Verizon mobile service or leave Verizon Cloud before all of your bonuses are applied to your Verizon bill, you will not get any more bonuses.

You must also keep the same mobile phone number. Bonuses won't roll over to a new one.

Your $10 bonus per contact is credited to your Verizon service bill 1-2 bill cycles after your contact becomes a paying Verizon Cloud user.

Bonuses for multiple successful referrals in the same bill cycle are applied to your bill as one combined credit. If your credit amount exceeds your Verizon bill monthly charge, the excess credit is applied in the next bill cycle.

You can earn up to 10 referral bonuses (totaling $100) in a 12-month period.

To get your bonus you must:

• Be on a paid Verizon Cloud plan in good standing.
• Keep the same mobile phone number. Bonuses won’t roll over to a new number.

If your contact doesn't get the text message you sent, double-check their contact information and resend the text.

If you didn't get the bill credit, several things may have happened:

• Your contact may not have used the link in the text message you sent. You won't be notified if they don't use the link to sign up for the free Verizon Cloud trial.
• Make sure you sent a unique text message to each of your contacts. Their text link is unique and can't be shared with anyone else.
• Your contact's link might have expired. It's only good for 14 days.
• It can take 1-2 bill cycles for the bonus credit to appear. It may show on your next bill.
