Add a Contact via Basic Visual Voicemail - Samsung

Here's how to add a contact on your Samsung smartphone via Basic Visual Voicemail.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps then tap
    Voicemail
     Visual Voicemail app.
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, tap the preferred message.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Add to contacts
    .
  4. Tap
    Create Contact
    .
  5. If presented, tap the desired account where the contact is stored then tap 'Select' or 'Set as default'.
  6. Enter any of following info then tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Phone
    • Email
    • Address
    • Events
    • Add another field
      • Phonetic name
      • IM
      • Notes
      • Nickname
      • Website
      • Internet call
      • Relationship

  6. Tap the appropriate label to the right of the 10-digit number. (e.g., Home, Mobile, Work, etc.)

    Save
     (lower-right).
