Broadband Hotspot Management - Verizon MDM (BuSS)

Here's how to view devices enrolled for broadband hotspots for Verizon MDM (BuSS).
  • Broadband Hotspot Management requires that devices are updated to the latest available firmware.
  • If devices are connecting via a Verizon Mobile Private Network connection, the devices must be able to access verizonmdm.vzw.com on port 443 (https) to receive configurations and post reporting data.
  • Verizon MDM content displayed and the ability to modify or update content may vary based on policy, role, or permissions.
  • Due to a number of features that require HTML 5, Verizon MDM requires Internet Explorer version 10 and above to work efficiently.
  1. From the Home screen, click the
    Mobility Services dropdown menu
    .
  2. Click
    Dashboard
    and view License Summary then click
    Broadband Hotspots
    for a breakdown of enrolled devices:
    • Total Licenses
    • Licenses in use (for Group)
    • Unlicensed items
    • Total Licensed in use
  3. From Devices and Groups, view enroll or archive devices.
    Licenses are assigned to devices when activated for management and unassigned when management is removed (devices are archived).
