Turn Safety Mode On / Off The My Verizon app provides a simple way to activate or deactivate Safety Mode, giving you control over your data experience when you've reached your limit.
Before you begin
You must have all your lines on the new Verizon Plan and the most current version of the My Verizon app to use Safety Mode. For additional info, check out these Safety Mode FAQs.
Steps
- Open theMy Verizon app.
- Tap theMobile tab.
- TapUsage.
- Tap theSafety Mode switchto turn on or off then accept the Terms & Conditions if prompted.If you turn off Safety Mode, it takes effect on the first day of your next cycle. If already active, you can add Data Boost or change to a larger size plan to return to higher speeds.
