Moto Z Play Droid Edition - Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Here's how to move files from internal storage to SD / Memory Card on your Moto Z Play Droid Edition.
To perform the steps below, an SD / Memory Card must be installed.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
  2. From the Portable storage section, select the name of the SD / Memory Card.
    The name varies depending upon the type of card used.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap
    Storage settings
    .
  5. Tap
    Move Media
    .
    This option only appears when media files are stored in the smartphone's internal storage.
  6. Select any of the following:
    Selected when a check mark is present.
    If an option is unavailable (grayed out), that media type is not currently stored within the internal storage.
    • Pictures
    • Movies
    • Music
  7. Tap
    MOVE
