Kyocera DuraForce PRO with Sapphire Shield - Turn Android Beam On / Off

Here's how to enable Android Beam and transfer files from your DuraForce PRO to other NFC-capable devices.

Android Beam can be utilized to transfer data (e.g., web pages, videos, place page in Maps) from one Near Field Communication (NFC) capable device to another when only a few centimeters apart, typically back-to-back.

From a Home screen, navigate:

Apps icon

Settings

Ensure the NFC switch is turned on Switch on

If prompted, review the disclaimer then tap

Enable

to confirm.

Tap

Android Beam

Tap the

Android Beam switch

(located in the upper-right) to turn on Switch on

or off
