LG K20 V - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your K20 V or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your LG K20™ V.
  2. Tap
    Fingerprints & security
    .
  3. Tap
    Set up SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  4. Tap
    Lock SIM card
     to enable or disable.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure Lock SIM card is enabled then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
       .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
  5. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
