Sonim XP5 - Change Network Mode
If your Sonim XP5 drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
- From the main screen, press theApps button

- SelectSettings.Use the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
- Navigate:.
- Select the applicable mode:
- LTE/CDMA: This is the preferred setting for most locations.
- LTE Only: This setting should only be selected if only LTE is needed.
- CDMA Only: This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only CDMA is needed.
