Sonim XP5 - Change Network Mode

If your Sonim XP5 drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  1. From the main screen, press the
    Apps button
    Apps button.
  2. Select
    Settings
    .
    Use the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. Navigate:
    More
    Mobile networks
    Preferred network type
    .
  4. Select the applicable mode:
    • LTE/CDMA
      : This is the preferred setting for most locations.
    • LTE Only
      : This setting should only be selected if only LTE is needed.
    • CDMA Only
      : This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only CDMA is needed.
