Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse / Galaxy J3 Mission - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your Galaxy J3 Eclipse / Galaxy J3 Mission in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until the 'Power off' prompt displays on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't powered on.
  2. Select and hold
    Power off
     until 'Restart in safe mode' displays.
  3. Tap
    RESTART
    .
    The restart process may take up to 1 minute to complete.
    Upon restart, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock / Home screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
