Checking your signal level can help you understand and troubleshoot data connection speeds and whether network issues are affecting your Toyota in-car Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Steps

  1. View the following indicators located in the upper-right of the touch screen display:
    • DCM (Data Communication Module) Connected: Indicates the DCM is connected to the vehicle. The vehicle is able to communicate with mobile networks and/or the internet.

    • DCM Coverage: Up to 5 horizontal bars indicating coverage strength.
      Backslash = No coverage
