Set Purchase LimitsKeep your family budget on track by limiting what your children can buy on their devices. Learn how to set purchase controls in the Verizon Family app.
Before you begin
Ensure the Verizon Family app is installed on the Guardian's device.
Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
Ensure the Dependent's device is powered off prior to adding or removing limits.
Steps
- Open the Verizon Family Guardian app.
- Tap theFamily Profiles tab.
- Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
- From the Parental Controls section, tapRestrict usage.
- TapPurchase limits.
- Enter the purchase limit in dollars (e.g., 50).Once the limit is reached, purchases billed to Verizon are restricted until the next billing cycle.Purchase limits must be less than $100 and apply to Verizon purchases only.At this time, free text alerts aren't sent for purchase limits.
