Want to keep your family safe and connected? Learn how to easily access the Verizon Family or Companion app right from your phone or tablet to manage screen time and track locations.

Before you begin

To access all Verizon Family app features, sign in with your My Verizon user ID and password. If you don't have an account, tap
Register
 to create one, then verify your mobile number to sign in.
Verizon Family app
 : Allows a Guardian to manage, monitor, locate or control their child's device using a smartphone or tablet.
Companion app
 : Must be installed and paired on the child's device to allow the Guardian to set up Parental Controls such as: content filters, location services and pause internet features.
If unavailable, ensure the family app or companion app is installed.

Verizon Mobile Customers Only

    If your mobile device is connected to Verizon's network, we may automatically sign you in without needing your user ID or password.
  3. From the sign in screen, enter the user ID and password for My Verizon.
    You must sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has account owner or manager access privileges, if your password is unknown, it can be reset.
  4. Tap
    Sign in
    .
  5. Tap
    Turn on
     to enable Face ID.
    If you choose 'Not now', you can set up Biometrics and Keep Me Signed In through the app menu anytime.
  6. Review and accept mobile app OS Permissions to use Verizon Family features.
  7. Wait for the app to open to the Home screen.

Non-Verizon Customers Only

    If your mobile device is with another carrier, you may not choose to sign in with Apple or Google or you can register and sign in with a Verizon account.
  3. Follow the steps to register and verify your phone number.
  4. Review and accept mobile app OS Permissions to use Verizon Family features.
  5. Wait for the app to open to the Home screen.
