Sonim XP5 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Sonim XP5.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    More
    Tethering & portable hotspot
    Set up Wi-Fi hotspot
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. Select
    Set up Wi-Fi hotspot
     to configure the following settings:
    • Network name
    • Security
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Select
        Show password
        then enter the new password.
      2. Select
        Save
        .
  4. Select
    Save
    .
  5. Press the
    Back button
    Back arrow icon.
  6. Select
    Auto disable Wi-Fi hotspot
     then select an option (e.g., 5 minutes, Never, etc.).
