Pair Guardian and Child DevicesStay in the loop with your family. Connecting your Guardian and Child apps lets you monitor safety features effortlessly with the Verizon Family app.
Before you begin
Ensure the Verizon Family app is installed on the Guardian's smartphone or tablet.
Have access to both the Guardian and Child devices and ensure a profile is created for your Child with an assigned role.
Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number.
Steps
- Open the Verizon Family Companion app.
- TapGet started.
- From the Confirm your device screen, enter the 6-digit code sent to the companion device, then tapConfirm.
- From the 'Phone number confirmed.' screen, tapGet started.
- To continue, review the collected info for the app to work then tapAgree.
- Review the info for the following permissions, tapContinuethen tapAllowfor each of the following:
- Share your online activity.
- Allow notifications.
- Share your contacts.
- Share your location.For location sharing, Adjust location settings toAllow all the timeand turn onUse precise location.
- Enable motion activity.
- From the 'You have completed pairing' screen, tapNextthen tapContinue.
