LG G7 ThinQ™ - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)
Here's how to reset your G7 ThinQ if it has a blank or frozen screen or calling, app, audio and syncing issues.
Perform a factory data reset on your LG G7 ThinQ™ only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.
- Music, pictures and videos can be backed up to a computer.
- Personal data (e.g., Wi-Fi passwords, browser bookmarks, etc.) can be backed up to Google's servers.
- Open theSettings app.An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
- Navigate:.
- TapFactory data reset.
- TapRESET PHONE.If presented, enter the current unlock pattern, PIN or password.
- If preferred, select to have content on the SD card erased as well.
- TapDelete all.Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.If applicable, set up your device. If troubleshooting third-party apps, disable the Automatic Restore option.
