Here's how to set up SOS messages for use in an emergency situation.
In any emergency situation, you can send a message to an emergency contact by quickly pressing the power key 3 times.
A notice of your approximate location is sent to the mobile phone of a chosen contact.
Up to 4 emergency contacts can be registered on the device.
Tap the
switch
to turn ON.
To continue, review the Terms and conditions then select the agreement option and tap
Agree
.
From the 'Create emergency contact' message, tap
Add
.
An emergency contact must be created for SOS messages to turn on.
From the 'Add recipient' message, perform one of the following:
To change the contact later, tap
Send messages
then tap 'Add' or 'Delete'.
To create a new emergency contact:
Enter a name and 10-digit number.
To use an existing contact for the emergency contact:
Tap
Select from contacts
.
Tap the desired contact(s) to select.
Tap the
Back icon

to return to the 'Send SOS messages' screen.
Tap
Attach pictures
to turn on or off.
Message will include a snapshot taken by the front and rear camera.
Tap
Attach audio recording
to turn on or off.
Message includes a 5-second audio recording.
