Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Porsche in-car Wi-Fi to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Before you begin

Enrollment in Connected Service is required before using in-car Wi-Fi or accessing the Wi-Fi hotspot settings screen.

Steps

  1. From the vehicle's head unit, tap the
    Home icon

  2. Tap
    Devices
    .
  3. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
    .
  4. Tap
    Wi-Fi Settings
    .
  5. Select any of the following to view or change settings:
    • WiFi
    • Enable Internet access (Purchase data package required).
    • Configure vehicle hotspot
      Select to view the Network name and password.
    • Display devices connected to the vehicle hotspot
    • Search for external hotspot
