Samsung Galaxy A12 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy A12.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Biometrics and security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern then tap
    Continue
    .
  5. Perform  any of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint. Repeat this step as necessary until the process is complete.
      2. Tap
        Done
        (lower-right).
      3. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.
      3. When finished, tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Touch and hold a fingerprint to remove.
        To delete all fingerprints, tap
        All
         (upper-left).
      2. Tap
        Remove
        .
      3. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
