Personalizing the Home screen on your Ellipsis 7 tablet makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Expand All
  1. From a Home screen, select
    Apps
    .
  2. Select and hold an app.
  3. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen (where there is empty space).
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. From the Widgets tab, touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen.
  5. If applicable, select additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a home screen, select and hold an empty space.
  2. Select
    Folder
    .
  3. Enter the preferred folder name then select
    OK
    .
    • To rename the folder:
      1. From a home screen, select a folder.
      2. Select the title bar (space under the open folder).
      3. Enter a name then select
        Done
        .
    • To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
  1. From a home screen, select and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, folder, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to the
    Remove icon
    Remove / trashcan icon then release.
  1. From a home screen, select
    Apps
    .
  2. From the Apps tab, select
    Settings
    .
  3. Select
    Display
    .
  4. Select
    Wallpaper
    .
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Gallery
    • Live wallpapers
    • Wallpaper
  6. Select the preferred wallpaper image then select
    Set wallpaper
    .
    If selecting an image from the Gallery, select the appropriate album then select the preferred image.
    If presented, adjust the crop frame then select
    OK
    .
