 Changing your Verizon 9100VM router's password

  1. Open a Web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.

  2. Enter in the Address field of the browser.

  3. Enter your user name. If you didn't change the user name during installation, enter admin in
    the User Name field. [Show Me]

  4. Enter the password you entered during installation and click OK.
  1. Note: If you didn't change the default password when you set up your router, it may have
    been changed to your router's serial number to provide greater security. You can find your
    router's serial number on a label affixed to the bottom or back of your router.
  2. Note: If you can't remember your user name or password, you must reset your Verizon
    9100VM router
    to the default settings and reconfigure your home network

  1. Click Change Login User Name/Password in the Quick Links section. [Show Me]

  2. Click your user name in the Full Name column of users. [Show Me]

  3. Delete the previous password and enter a new password in the New Password field.

  4. Enter the new password a second time in the Retype New Password field to verify you entered
    it correctly.

  5. Click Ok.

  6. Click Ok if a warning screen informs you that you will have to log back in because you've changed the password for the person who is logged in. [Show Me]

  7. Close the Verizon 9100VM utility screen unless you have additional setup processes to complete.
    1. Note: You can close the 9100VM utility even if a login screen displays. You only need to log back in with your new password if you are doing additional setup.
