Verizon Shine FAQs

Shine brings you new loyalty offers every week, including "Epic Wins" sweepstakes and Daily Drops.

• Daily Drops:
  • Daily Drops will be offered throughout the week and will include event tickets, merchandise, third-party provider offers, and digital content.
  • Daily Drops may have limited availability and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Claiming a Daily Drop does not affect your account's eligibility to claim additional offers.
• Epic Wins (Weekly Sweepstakes):
  • We offer a new, exclusive sweepstakes every Monday.
  • You enter from Monday at 12:01 AM ET to Sunday at 9:00 PM ET.
  • Every line on your account can enter once, but your account can only win one prize per weekly sweepstakes.
• Presale Tickets - Purchase tickets to concerts or other events for a limited time, before they are available to the public.
• Local Passes - Free ticket drops to live local events, including sporting events, concerts, devices, gaming and more.
• Select Seats - Select Seats provides you with access to tickets that only Verizon customers can purchase for a limited time during the general public on-sale.
• Featured Venues - Tickets set aside exclusively for Verizon customers for events at MSG Entertainment venues such as Madison Square Garden in NYC or The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Shine is free and available to eligible customers and can be accessed by signing into your account through the My Verizon app. The terms applicable to Shine can be found at Shine Terms. Additional terms and conditions may apply to individual offers.

You're eligible if you:

• Are 18 or over.
• Have an active standard monthly Verizon mobile or Verizon Fios account in good standing.
• Are a resident of the US (excluding the territories of Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands).

Important: Business and prepaid accounts aren't eligible for Shine at this time. Shine is not available to lines associated with a Just Kids plan, Gizmo device, Ellipsis Kids Devices or Disney devices.

Enrollment isn't required. You can visit Shine when you sign in to your eligible My Verizon app account. From the Me tab, select Shine to view and participate in Shine Offers.

You can find your claimed offers in the Verizon Shine History section at the bottom of the Shine Dashboard.

Keep in mind: Offers no longer show in your Shine History after they expire.

You can see all the week's offers, even those not yet available to claim, starting every Monday.

Yes. While some Verizon Shine offers are similar to those offered through the Verizon Access / myAccess experience, Verizon Shine is a new program that replaces Verizon Access / myAccess.

Yes, when the language on your device is set to Spanish (US), you can update your My Verizon app to the Spanish version. Also, you may choose the Spanish language indicator, in the top right of your screen, when viewing Verizon online.

Note: The My Verizon app only supports "Spanish - United States" at this time. You'll receive an error message stating the app isn't available in Spanish when your device language is set to other versions of Spanish.

Shine features a new, exclusive sweepstakes weekly in the Epic Wins section of the My Verizon app.

You can enter from Monday 12:01 AM ET to Sunday at 9:00 PM ET.

Every line on your account can enter once. However, your account can win only one prize per weekly sweepstakes.

There are no other restrictions on how often your account wins sweepstakes. If your account wins one week, you can still enter the next week.

If you win a prize, you'll be issued a 1099 form if the prize value exceeds $2,000 and we may be required to report prize amounts to taxing authorities.

Daily Drops give you offers like high-value event tickets, merchandise, partner offers or digital content.

The week's Drops are visible starting every Monday at 12:01 AM ET. A tag identifies when each Drop becomes available to claim. We plan to offer new Drops frequently, but we do not guarantee Drops every day of the week.

Redemption limits may vary by offer. Some Drops may have a limited inventory, while others are available to all Shine users. There is no maximum number of redemptions per month.

No, claiming a Daily Drop does not affect your account's eligibility to claim additional offers.

Local Passes are free tickets for live events across the US, like sports or concerts.

We typically target these passes by location, so that you should only see passes for events in your area. You'll see a ticket tile and countdown timer before a pass becomes available to try to claim. If we don't currently have available Local Pass offers in your area, you won't see a tile.

With Shine, you have exclusive access to purchase tickets for the artists you love before the tickets become available to the general public. The presale period varies, but is typically 2-3 days ahead of the regular sale period.

You can get Presale Tickets in a variety of seating sections and prices in the Presale Tickets section in Verizon Shine. You’ll make the purchases on the third party site (i.e., Ticketmaster).

Keep in mind: Some events require Presale registration before you can access the presale.

If ticket inventory remains after the Verizon presale window closes, you can purchase Select Seats through Ticketmaster. If available, you'll find these in the Live Events section, under Big Tickets.

Verizon partners with select venues across the country, providing access to tickets. You can purchase these tickets directly through Ticketmaster.

Your TravelPass days earned as a Verizon Visa Cardholder are now available in the International dashboard in My Verizon > Mobile tab > Plans.

You may not see Local Passes due to a 6-month account freeze.
