Unpair Guardian and Child Devices

Stop location alerts and content filters when a device no longer needs to be monitored. Quickly unpair Guardian and Child devices right from the Verizon Family app.

Before you begin

Unpairing prevents access to location alerts, content filters, and the ability to pause internet.
Ensure that the Verizon Family app is installed on the Child device.
Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.

Steps

  2. Tap the
    Family Profiles tab
    .
  3. Select the desired family member profile.
  4. From the Device section, tap the arrow to select the applicable device.
  5. Tap
    Delete Device
    .
  6. Tap
    Remove
    .
    Unpairing means deleting the child's device profile. This cannot be undone.
