Verizon Cloud App - Manage Locked Folder Content

Here's how to move content to/from the Locked Folder in the Verizon Cloud app.
  • To perform the steps below, ensure:
    • your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
    • the Locked Folder feature is enabled.
Expand All
  1. Open the
    Verizon Cloud app
    .
  2. Tap
    Library
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To add files within the Locked Folder:
      1. Tap
        Locked Folder
        .
        If necessary, tap
        All Files
         then select
        Locked Folder
        .
        Content already in the Locked Folder is displayed.
      2. If prompted, scan your fingerprint (if enabled) or enter your PIN.
      3. Tap any of the icons:
        • Photos & videos Add Photos icon
        • AudioAdd Music icon
        • Documents Add Documents icon
        • Camera Add from Camera icon
          Tap
          OK
           if prompted for permission then tap
          OK
           after taking the photo to upload it directly to the Locked Folder.
      4. Tap the
        Menu icon
         Contextual Menu icon then tap
        Select Content
        .
      5. Select the desired file(s).
      6. Tap the
        Checkmark icon
         checkmark icon.
      7. Tap
        Make Private
         to confirm.
    • To add from media categories:
      1. Select the desired category (e.g., Photos & videos, Audio, etc.).
      2. Tap the
        Menu icon
         then tap
        Select Content
        .
      3. Select the desired file(s).
      4. Tap the
        Menu icon
         then tap
        Make Private
        .
        If prompted, scan your fingerprint (if enabled) or enter your PIN.
      5. Tap
        Make Private
         to confirm.
  1. Open the
    Verizon Cloud app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Library
    Locked Folder
    .
  3. If prompted, scan your fingerprint (if enabled) or enter your PIN.
  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Contextual Menu icon then tap
    Select Content
    .
  5. Select the desired file(s).
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon
     then select the desired option:
    • Download
      : Downloads the selected file(s) to your phone.
      On Android devices, downloaded files are stored in Internal Storage/Vault/Downloads.
    • Move Back
      : Moves the selected file(s) back to regular Cloud storage.
      Tap
      Move Back
       from the pop-up to confirm.
    • Delete
      : Permanently deletes the selected file(s) from your Cloud account.
      Tap
      Delete
       from the pop-up to confirm.
