Simple Mobile debuts 3x more data promotion and introduces enhanced Lifeline benefits
New customers can get 3x more high-speed data on the $25, $30 and $40 plans
NEW YORK - Simple Mobile, a simple, yet powerful, no-contract wireless provider that runs on Verizon’s network, today introduced a competitive new deal for its customers. For a limited time, new customers can get triple the data on select Simple Mobile plans, allowing them to get more of the fast, reliable service they count on for less. Here’s the promotion breakdown:
$25 plan now includes 15GB of data (up from 5GB)
$30 plan now includes 30GB of data (up from 10GB)
$40 plan now includes 45GB of data (up from 15GB)
Additionally, the brand introduced an enhancement to its Lifeline benefits, providing eligible customers $10 discounts per month on any monthly plan, accessible from an easy-to-use QR code when visiting any one of Simple Mobile’s 5,000 retailers nationwide. This discount means qualifying Lifeline customers can get 15GB of high-speed data for $15/month.

For the first time, Simple Mobile customers can apply for Lifeline via a scannable QR code, making it easier than ever to sign up. Customers enrolled in SNAP, Medicaid, Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit and other government assistance programs automatically qualify for Lifeline benefits. “We know there are a lot of Simple Mobile customers who qualify for Lifeline but don’t currently have it,” said David Avila, Federal Programs Director at Verizon Value. “Our customers have questions or don’t fully understand the program, so they don’t apply. Having 5,000 Simple Mobile locations in friendly neighborhood retailers can hopefully reduce the intimidation factor and serve as a place for customers to go for an easy way to enroll with the availability of QR codes.”
Adding retail locations isn’t the only step Simple Mobile is taking to further stand out from the competition. The brand is also unveiling a refresh with new, modern fonts and updated design, including the incorporation of violet and gray tones into the color family, re-energizing the brand among retailers and customers. Simple Mobile has also come out on top as the top seller in the most recent quarterly multi-carrier prepaid dealer survey conducted by Wave7 research.
