Join The Women’s CoLab

In 2021 Verizon, in collaboration with several other industry-leading companies, created a free online development program called Women's CoLab. This is a collection of amazing personal and professional development resources, curated with women in mind, and open for all to join.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Women’s CoLab is hosting a free virtual event streaming live on the Women’s CoLab YouTube channel, Linkedin, and Twitter at 12 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 8. Organized by founding member Verizon with Bustle Digital Group, this event features Create & Cultivate founder Jaclyn Johnson, and a host of executives from Chipotle, Kimberly-Clark, Walmart and more.

In addition to this awesome event, Women’s Colab will continue to celebrate Women’s History Month all month long with our #DearMe social media movement. We invite you to participate and help hold each other accountable in making our dreams a reality.

Join The Women’s CoLab

Here’s what you do:

  1. Create a short note to yourself entitled “#DearMe”, written now to your future self, about your hopes, dreams and plans for the future.
  2. Take a selfie to go along with your letter and post on Social Media
  3. Be sure to tag us @wmnscolab and tag a friend or colleague to challenge them to do the same. Don’t forget to use #DearMe + #InternationalWomensDay.

Remember, all are welcome. We will be sharing these awesome posts throughout the month of March!

Joining Women’s Colab

Finally, if you are not already a member of Women’s CoLab, we invite you to join. Invite your friends and family to join in and learn together. A unique username and password is all you need to create a professional profile on the Women’s CoLab Learning Portal. For Verizon employees, remember to register with a non-work email address like your personal email, to avoid being redirected to your Verizon Learning Portal. Women’s CoLab members receive invitations to exclusive partner events, workshops and a private LinkedIn networking group. Your voice matters so we ask our members to share their stories so we can all learn from each other.

Happy International Women’s Day.
