Over these past weeks and months, we had to reimagine our day-to-day life and the world we want to build. With a growing chorus of voices calling for progress, the one thing that remains absolute is the vital need for great leaders. We need visionaries to help drive lasting change within and beyond our walls.

Thankfully, Verizon has the best leaders in the business, and our latest industry recognition further proves it.

Three Verizon executives were named WeQual Award winners for their outstanding career contributions and potential for future impact. They include:

• Krista Bourne, Senior Vice President, Consumer Sales & Operations
• Elise Neel, Vice President, Incubation
• Nicola Palmer, Senior Vice President, Technology & Product Development

Additionally, Wendy Taccetta, Senior Vice President, Business Commercial Operations, and Aparna Khurjekar, Senior Vice President, Customer Experience & Transformation, were named finalists for the prestigious award series.

WeQual aims to elevate the achievements of women executives and make sure they have the correct support systems to succeed. Winners were selected based on their stellar business acumen and leadership skills. When assessing the candidate, the jury members did not see the name, title, or company, so they judged solely on accomplishments without bias towards any individual or professional affiliation.

While these months have challenged every aspect of the business, this tremendous achievement reaffirms that Verizon’s future is bright with leaders like these amazing women defining our way forward.
