May 21, 2025 Update

Following the severe storms that have caused significant impacts across the St. Louis area, Verizon is taking immediate steps to support residents and ensure vital communication lines remain open.

“The impact of these storms on the St. Louis community is profound, and our priority is to stand with our neighbors during this challenging time,” said Andy Brady, Verizon President for Great Lakes. “Our teams are working diligently to ensure the network performs reliably and to provide direct support where it’s needed most. We are focused on helping the community navigate this situation by ensuring they can connect with loved ones and access essential services without added concern.”

Keeping Customers Connected

Verizon is providing unlimited domestic talk, text, and data to postpaid consumer and small business customers* in the St. Louis areas most impacted by the recent tornado. Customers do not have to take any action for these usage charges to be waived and customers whose bill cycles have already closed will have such charges automatically credited back. This offer is valid until June 17 for customers with billing addresses in the zip codes listed here.

Verizon’s prepaid brands, including Straight Talk, Tracfone, Total Wireless, Simple Mobile, Walmart Family Mobile, Net10, GoSmart, and Page Plus are extending service end dates to June 17th, 2025 for customers in the impacted zip codes. Verizon will also waive domestic call, text, and data usage for Verizon Prepaid users on metered plans.

Direct Investment in Local Recovery

Verizon is committing $10,000 to the American Red Cross of Missouri to support immediate, on-the-ground relief efforts. This contribution is aimed at bolstering the crucial work local organizations are doing to help residents recover and rebuild.

Charging stations

Recognizing that power outages are a significant challenge, Verizon has deployed public charging stations in accessible locations. These stations are available for anyone in the community to charge their mobile phones and other devices helping them stay informed and connected.
