Verizon’s pandemic pivot receives experience award

When the pandemic hit, the V Team pulled together to effectively and efficiently pivot our business to keep both our employees and customers safe and maximize our ability to continue selling. By tapping into technology to create seamless, efficient transactions, we made it possible for customers to have best-in-class touchless in-store experiences.

It’s because of these best-in-class experiences that Verizon has been selected as a 2021 Brand Experience Award winner by RetailX and Retail TouchPoints in the category of Most Effective Pivot Strategy. These awards spotlight the businesses that are redefining the rules of interaction, engagement and loyalty, and that’s exactly what our team did.

The award was accepted on our collective behalf at the RetailX 2021 event by Matt Carr, North East Consumer Vice President and David Oliveira, New York City Consumer Sales Director, who is currently leading the country in our customer experience.
