Generative Artificial Intelligence was the prevailing theme

With over 40,000 attendees, and 500+ exhibitors from across the industry, Verizon had the opportunity last week to speak to new and existing customers both at the RSA booth and at the recently launched Verizon Innovation Labs San Francisco location.

“The recurring theme this year was definitely Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) - from the keynotes given, to the vendor booth messaging, to our customer conversations,” said Chris Novak, Global Director of the Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center.

“Al is here and the cybersecurity community must harness its power,” stated Alistair Neil, Managing Director Advanced Solutions International, Verizon Business.

“Understanding AI and its applications to better protect the enterprise is crucial, especially as this technology gets smarter and better over time,” said Jennifer Varner, Director Security Solution Sales, North America, Verizon Business. “Without applying good AI, zero-trust has zero chance.”
