Executive Leadership Transition

Team,

We are transforming Verizon to delight customers and deliver for our shareholders. Our turnaround is only beginning, and we are building on our strong momentum coming out of the fourth quarter. This is a full company effort that involves every part of our business. As we change and grow, there will be changes in our structure and leadership. I want to share one of these transitions with you today.

Sampath has agreed that now is the right time to step down from his role as CEO of the Verizon Consumer Group. He will stay with us through the end of the first quarter to ensure a smooth transition.

Sampath has played an important role in serving our customers, supporting our frontline teams and strengthening how we operate during his tenure leading our Consumer and Business Groups. I want to thank him for his many contributions to Verizon.

I am pleased to share that Alfonso Villanueva, our Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, will serve as interim CEO of Verizon Consumer Group. Alfonso has played a key role in our transformation efforts since he joined our team. He is at the center of our change – scaling the innovations, technologies and investments that are improving our end-to-end customer experience and ushering in our next era of value creation. As interim CEO of the Consumer Group, Alfonso will fully immerse himself in the customer experience and core convergence initiatives, offering an important level of alignment between transformation strategy and operational execution. These changes will accelerate our transformation by allowing us to move faster and deliver improvements our customers will feel.

We are at a critical inflection point, improving our customer experience and bringing greater intensity to how we execute. Our strong fourth-quarter 2025 performance shows the early impact of the actions underway and reinforces an important truth: when we focus all our energy on our customers, we compete and we win.

We are more than one month into the first quarter, and performing well. We have to continue to move fast, stay aligned on what matters most to our customers, and deliver our next chapter of growth!

Go Verizon.

Dan
