Why Lifesaving Principles?
Verizon’s Lifesaving Principles were developed to protect lives by preventing serious incidents and fatalities. They address activities with the highest safety risks and focus on safe behaviors and work practices.

Identify and control work-area hazards and use appropriate PPE.
Establish work-zone protection.
Maintain minimum approach distances from energized lines and equipment.
