Celebrating 30th Anniversary of First Commercial Cell Phone Call

This Sunday, October 13, the wireless industry will celebrate a milestone anniversary – the 30th anniversary of the first commercial cell phone call. Made from Soldier Field, it was placed by the president of Ameritech (now Verizon Wireless) to the grandson of Alexander Graham Bell.
