Although three million U.S. Millennials are mobile-only newspaper content consumers, a large percentage of young people still turn to newspapers as their information source. Of young adults between the ages of 18 and 34, 56% read newspaper media content in print or online.

In addition to being a top news source, Millennials also consistently react to advertisements in newspapers. The generation that has honed its skills in ignoring ads online finds itself taking advantage of coupons and deals found in the paper.

There is something to be said for the young adult who, ironically or not, flips through the pages of a newspaper. It remains a trendy way to absorb news and information, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere any time soon.
