What cities are getting 5G?

By: Verizon Up To Speed

Verizon names 20 more cities to get 5G Ultra Wideband -- and preorder for the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G starts today.

We’re rolling out our 5G Ultra Wideband network in 20 more cities this year, including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, MO, Little Rock, Memphis, Phoenix, Providence, Salt Lake City, San Diego and Washington, DC. These join Chicago and Minneapolis, the first two cities to receive 5G mobility service.

And starting April 25, customers can preorder Samsung’s first 5G smartphone in the U.S. – the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G – offered exclusively on Verizon for a limited time.

Verizon continues to lead in 5G. We were first to launch 5G commercial service with our 5G Home broadband internet service in October 2018.

Plus, Kate Jay is ready for some football. We will catch up with her in Nashville, TN, home of this year’s NFL Draft, where V Teamers participated in tree planting events and our Network team has been working to ensure everyone here for the Draft has a great experience. We will also see how some lucky Verizon fans are experiencing the draft like a first round pick thanks to Verizon Up.

Remember to join us today at 11 AM ET. We’re hosting a live event on Facebook and Twitter with Stephen Balkam, founder of the Family Online Safety Institute, on how to be a parent in the digital age.

It’s all on today’s Up To Speed, the best place for everything happening around and inside Verizon.
