Cooling down and charging up at Outside Lands.
This month, more than 200,000 people attended the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The three-day festival featured performances by incredible musicians like Paul Simon, Childish Gambino, Kacey Musgraves, and more. In between sets, Verizon Up members took a break from the crowds at The Members Lounge. Free for any festival goers who joined Verizon Up, the Lounge provided beverages, snacks, charging stations, all with an incredible view of the main stage.
An intimate show with Bazzi and iHeartRadio.
In Los Angeles, Verizon Up and iHeartRadio hosted an intimate show featuring the up-and-coming singe, Bazzi, who rose to fame after his self-released song “Mine” became an internet sensation in 2017. There were plenty of Verizon Up members in attendance who got their tickets for free. After the show, five lucky fans got to go backstage and meet Bazzi himself. “When it’s so few people, you can actually see people and their expressions,” he said of the opportunity to perform for a smaller audience. “You can really hear them and feel them because they’re so close to you. It’s really special.”
Get inside the mind of Shawn Mendes.
The countdown is underway for “This is Shawn,” a two-day immersive music experience in NYC that will give fans a glimpse of the creative process of international popstar Shawn Mendes. Presented by Verizon, the event is open to the public but Verizon Up members will receive the VIP treatment, from exclusive access to fast-lane entry. Alongside the event, there will be a pop-up store where fans can purchase Shawn’s newest merchandise. “This is Shawn” takes place this Friday August 23rd and Saturday August 24th in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC.
