First responders for the win

By: Verizon Up To Speed

We made a big impact at Super Bowl LIII.

Yesterday was the big game and congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. But even bigger than winning the Super Bowl is saving lives. Over 40 million people in America wouldn’t be here without a first responder. Last night during the big game we released our latest ad as part of “The Team That Wouldn’t Be Here” campaign.

There’s still time to visit AllOurThanks.com to support first responders. For every share of the content, Verizon will donate $1, up to $1.5 million, to First Responders Outreach.

And if you missed the employee preview on Friday, you can catch “The Team That Wouldn’t Be Here” documentary on CBS Sports tonight at 9 pm ET. On February 7, it’ll be available on Yahoo Sports and on Fios through the end of the month.

Our commitment to First Responders is everywhere through things like Responder Private Core, 5G First Responder Labs and Unlimited Data Plan Discounts. And, starting yesterday through February 27, Military service members and first responders get a $100 gift card with a new line or BYOD (bring your own device) and Unlimited for as little as $30/line for 4 lines. Just another way we’re showing our support.

Throughout the Super Bowl week, our Tony McNary kept us up to speed on everything happening in Atlanta. So who better to wrap it all up than Tony?

It’s all on today’s Up To Speed, the best place for everything happening around and inside Verizon.
