WorldCom Secures New $1.5 Billion Accounts Receivable Securitization Program

CLINTON, Miss., May 23, 2002 - WorldCom, Inc. (NASDAQ: WCOM, MCIT) today announced that, as expected, it secured a new $1.5 billion accounts receivable securitization program. The new program does not contain any ratings triggers.

Lead banks for the new WorldCom accounts receivable facility are Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.
