Christina Schelling

Christina Schelling leads Verizon’s global people strategy, bringing together talent, technology and culture to reimagine how work gets done, drive business performance and create an exceptional employee experience for the V Team.

Since joining Verizon in 2022, Christina has helped reshape the company’s talent practices, develop future-ready leaders and build the capabilities needed for continued growth and innovation. A champion of emerging technology, she has accelerated AI fluency and adoption across Verizon, empowering employees to work smarter, solve complex challenges and deliver better outcomes.

With more than 25 years of global HR leadership experience, Christina has served as a trusted advisor to Fortune 100 CEOs, executive teams and boards. She brings deep expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness and culture transformation, helping organizations and their people thrive through change.

Prior to Verizon, Christina served as Head of Human Resources for Global Corporate Functions at The Estée Lauder Companies. Previously, she held senior HR leadership roles at Prudential, where she helped reshape talent and organizational strategies. She also held roles at American Express spanning talent development, business transformation and workforce strategy. She began her career as a Leadership Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Christina’s insights on talent management, leadership and corporate culture have been featured in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune and The Economist. Passionate about expanding access to education and opportunity, she serves on the Advisory Board for KIPP Charter Schools.

Christina holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MA in Organizational Development from The George Washington University.
