A message from our Chief Information Security Officer

Your security is important to us.

Verizon’s CyberSecurity team works 24x7x365 to keep your information and accounts safe. Whether you are a customer with a single personal phone line or a business with several Verizon lines or other services, our committed team helps protect against identity theft, fraud, and unauthorized charges or use of your account.

We offer account controls to all our customers to prevent unauthorized charges and help you keep your account secured. Visit us online or download the My Verizon App to manage users and learn about available security tools.

Verizon customer service representatives are required to verify your identity before making any changes to your account. We will never contact you unprompted and ask for sensitive information like your account PIN, password or temporary one-time passcodes. If you believe you’ve received a suspicious call or message claiming to be from Verizon, please reach out to us at phishing@verizon.com. Customers can forward suspicious text messages to S-P-A-M (7-7-2-6).
