We’re going to answer another frequently asked question “What’s it like to work at Verizon?” Well, as you might imagine, this topic is near and dear to the hearts of recruiters, who work hard to ensure candidates can both do their job — and love it. At some point, the work environment always comes up. It’s natural. Our Credo. You may have already heard us talk about this document but we can’t stress its importance enough. The Credo continues to guide and unite us on a daily basis. It appears in our offices as well as our stores. We keep it bookmarked on our computers and refer back to it frequently. Understanding what the Credo is, what it means is and how it functions is at the heart of Verizon and everything we do.

Cool benefits. We know pay and benefits matter, so we strive to go beyond the basics. And though our packages vary based on market, these often include things like paid leave for new parents, tuition assistance, plenty of paid time off, on-site fitness centers or discounts to participating local gyms, 401(k) savings with company match, Verizon product discounts, an employee assistance program and more. We want to make sure you’re taken care of whether you’re at work or just living your life.
