As holiday shopping kicks into high gear, Microsoft announced today the first wave of partners debuting on the hotly anticipated Xbox One console hitting shelves on November 22.

The new console combines a variety of gaming and entertainment apps which you can check out in the demo video below.   FiOS TV, which will have the app on Xbox One is the only  TV provider included in today’s announcement. We’ll be sure to keep you informed on all the details surrounding our apps as we get ready to launch.

So today, at a private press event for Engadget Expand NY, we will reveal the initial results of our #VZGamer survey. For real-time updates today, follow @Verizon & @EngadgetExpand.
